2026-27 Program Fees
Note: For 2026-27, members not competing outside the Atlantic provinces are now only required to get the SSC/SSN "Club" membership ($15 + $15) due to a new agreement with SSC and the Atlantic provinces.
Payment Policy
All skaters must have completed their registration and made full payment within IceReg before participants will be permitted on the ice. This helps the club prepare for the season and ensures are all waivers and consents are completed.
E-transfer may be considered as payment in rare circumstances; the onus is on the athlete/parent to email such requests to the club at least one week prior to the first time on ice.
Refund Policy
A Group Pre-Season
If withdrawal before the program starts, full refund.
If withdrawal after one session, 80% refund ($100).
Withdrawals after completing one session will not be eligible for a refund.
Speed Skating Programs (Regular Season, October to March)
If withdrawal before the program starts, full refund.
If withdrawal prior to four sessions, 100% refund.
Withdrawal by November 1, 80% refund.
Withdrawal by December 15, 40% refund.
Withdrawal after December 15, no refund.
Learn to Skate Program
If withdrawal before the program starts: Full refund ($180).
If withdrawal after attending the first session: Full refund ($180).
If withdrawal after attending the second or third session: Partial refund (75%, $135)
If withdrawal after the fourth session: No refund.
Refund Request Process
Participants must submit a written request for a refund to fassci@gmail.com, indicating the reason for withdrawal and last session requested. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of the request being approved. All refunds do not include processor fees (IceReg / transaction fees). These cannot be refunded.
Speed Skate New Brunswick and Speed Skate Canada Fees
Fees to Speed Skate New Brunswick (SSNB) and Speed Skate Canada (SSC) are paid once annually. If you register for another program during the year, you won't need to pay those fees again. Further information can be found on SSC's Membership Structure document.

Learn to Skate (First Strides)
First Strides - Learn to Skate
Skaters looking to learn basic skating skills will work their way through four levels of the First Strides segment of the program.

Learn to Speed Skate (C Group)
C Group - Learn to Speed Skate
The Fast Strides Learn to Speed Skate Program is designed for skaters who have already mastered fundamental skills and are ready to take the next step into the exciting world of speed skating.

Intermediate (B Group)
B Group - Intermediate
The Intermediate Speed Skate Program is perfect for athletes looking to elevate their performance and deepen their understanding of speed skating.

Advanced (A Group)

The Advanced Speed Skate Program is tailored for dedicated athletes striving to achieve peak performance in the sport of speed skating.

Pre-Season Advanced (A Group) Sessions
The Pre-Season Advanced A Group Program is a focused, one-hour weekly session designed to prepare advanced skaters for the upcoming speed skating season.
Drop-in
City of Fredericton Recreation Card
Under the City of Fredericton’s Recreation Service Agreement, all club athletes must have a recreation card. Cards are free to City of Fredericton residents and Recreation Service Agreement participating communities.
The Club is required to submit all recreation card details to the city annually. Failure to provide the club with a recreation card number may result in withdrawal from the club.

- Review the description and click the blue Add button.
- Complete all required fields and upload your identification documents.
- A confirmation email will be sent. Rec card number is in the confirmation email.
